Founded as a fundraiser for Kaitoke School, this much-loved event is often called the “world’s friendliest marathon” — a true celebration of community spirit, resilience and island hospitality.

The flights - $408 return per person
All our flights are fully refundable up to 24hrs prior to departure.
The flights depart from, & return to Auckland Airport - Domestic Terminal, and take around 30 minutes each way.
Check-in closes 60 minutes before departure.
Each passenger is allowed 20kg of check-in luggage and 7 kg carry-on luggage.

The Rental Car - $75 per day
Your Toyota Rav4 would be available for pick-up and drop-off at the Claris airport.
It comes with unlimited kms and a full fuel tank that you'd be required to re-fill at the end of the hire period.
One car rental day equals 24 hours - with a couple of hours grace on the last day.

The hire rate includes 'standard' insurance with an excess of $1500.
This can be reduced to nil by adding 'full' insurance for a further $22 per day.

The Accommodation - Studios for 2 guests at $240 per night - Villas for 4 guests at $300 per night
Sunset Waterfront Lodge - conveniently located in Tryphena not far from the finish line.
Cool Beachfront Studios and bigger Villas are both available !
