Pick-up Locations
Your private water taxi departs from Sandspit or from numerous  places around Auckland...
Downtown Auckland at Pier 21, Gulf Harbour, Bayswater, Oraki , Pine Harbour and Waiheke Island are popular with a lot of our clients. Let us know if you need a pick-up somewhere else.

Drop-off Locations
We're happy to pick-up and drop-off at any of Great Barrier Island's wharves... Tryphena, Okupu, Whangaparapara and Port FitzRoy - but we're happy to drop you at any safe and suitable location on the Barrier's west coast.

Duration
Weather depending, we'll get you to the Barrier's west coast quickly and comfortably.
From Auckland, in good sea conditions you could expect to reach the Barrier in around 2.5 hours.
From Sandspit, with a flat sea we'll have you on the island in only 1.45 to 2 hours.. and it's cheaper too !

Capacity
We need a minimum of 7 passengers on the Barrier run.
Depending on the amount of luggage you need to bring, we can carry up to 12 passengers at a time.

Luggage
We have capacity to take personal luggage, food, chilly bins, surfboards etc. within reason.
Give us a heads up if you're wanting to take dive tanks or any other large ticket items.
